May is National ASIAN AMERICAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE MONTH May has been designated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Across the nation, Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders contribute to a rich and deeply rooted heritage.
We also are celebrating National Salad month! Encourage yourself and your family to eat a colorful palette of salads. When you think of salad, we typically think of a traditional green salad full of different types of lettuces. However, it is important to note that you can switch up your salad base to create a whole new recipe! This can include grilled vegetables, whole wheat pasta, quinoa, and fruit.
